Trade has the potential to expand women’s role in the economy, decrease inequality, and expand women’s access to skills and education. Unfortunately trade is not gender-neutral and in order to break the bias, we need to continue hearing women entrepreneurs share their experiences, identify barriers, acknowledge and share best practice and put forward recommendations and action plans to help shift these barriers.
The roundtable will showcase women in international trade from the three chapters across three areas: sustainable practices, trade finance and digitalisation. These are all key for building resilience and growing businesses across borders in the coming years.
Join OWIT Brussels, OWIT Lake Geneva and OWIT UK for insightful keynotes and a roundtable discussion in person and online.
