Sue Lawton MBE Sue is an expert on women’s economic empowerment. Her extensive international experience brings with it an understanding of the challenges faced by small/medium businesses, focusing on inclusive entrepreneurship including women, social enterprise and diverse communities.

Sue co-founded the WEConnect programme in Europe, Canada and Australia and was the moderator for the UN High Level Panel for Women’s Economic Empowerment.

Sue’s work has enabled her to build an extensive international network that supports her growing interest in ‘paying back’ – using the opportunities and experience she has benefitted from to reach out to new entrepreneurs by offering development advice and guidance and business support.

Sue has extensive board experience and continues to champion women’s business development globally, for which she was awarded an MBE. 

She is a Savvitas Senator, Chairing the World Business Women programme.

She is also the co-founder of Crew Projects
